- Is AgriGuildDAO free to use?
- Yes, AgriGuildDAOis completely free to use for listing, browsing, and trading. Smart contract fees may apply when using escrow, and some DAO services may require a small participation bond to prevent spam.
- Do I need a crypto wallet to sign up?
- Yes. AgriGuildDAO uses wallet-based identity for security and trust. You'll sign up with your email, verify it, and then connect and sign with your Phantom wallet. All future logins are wallet-only.
- How does escrow work?
- When you create a trade, funds are locked in a smart contract in UXD, cUSD or USDT. Once both parties confirm the deal was completed, funds are released. If there's a problem, you can request a DAO vote to resolve it.
- What if someone breaks the deal?
- Disputes can be escalated to DAO members who review evidence and vote on a resolution. Reputation is impacted by dispute outcomes to encourage honesty and fairness.
- Can I vote in the DAO?
- Yes. Once you're a verified user, you can vote on platform updates, disputes, and proposals. Your vote weight may increase with reputation over time.
- What types of products can I trade?
- You can list and trade most agricultural products — fruits, vegetables, grains, herbs, and more. We do not currently support livestock or restricted items.
- What’s the difference between Tier 1 and Tier 2 products?
- Tier 1 products are high-demand, verified, and meet certain quality and traceability standards. They get priority in search and must come from trusted sellers. Tier 2 products are unverified or niche — still tradable, but with less exposure until they build trust or move up based on DAO voting and trade history.
- How do Buyer and Seller Rankings work?
- Rankings are based on your verified identity, trade history, and DAO participation. Sellers move up by completing successful trades and earning confirmations. Buyers move up by paying on time and resolving trades fairly. Higher ranks unlock better visibility, faster dispute handling, and access to premium tiers.
